Located just 15 minutes from Dalyan amidst 20 acres of private pasture, in turn bordered by over 400 acres of lush forest, a setting this idyllic demands a property of special quality ...and the Kashmir does not disappoint. Sweeping up the long, impressive driveway on arrival, a great sense of space, peace and serenity is immediately apparent; a wonderful feeling that we are confident will remain with you throughout your stay.
In so many ways individuality is the key at this exceptional property. Originally built as a private residence, Kashmir represents the fulfillment of a long cherished dream for Mustafa, the charming owner whose initial intention was to create an exclusive country escape solely for his personal friends from Istanbul's high-society. Over the last six years, the unique buildings and expansive grounds have matured into one of Turkey's most sought after boutique hotels where the focus is on maximising guest comfort through an artful blend of traditional style, contemporary facilities and discrete, caring service.
A key highlight at Kashmir must be the tastefully styled bedrooms which, we believe, are amongst the finest to be found in south west Turkey. From the hotel's grand total of just 18 rooms we have selected the pick of the crop for Vintage Travel guests to enjoy, each one superbly appointed, individually designed and decorated with great flair. All have a king size bed with a seating area or dedicated living room, air-conditioning/heating, fireplace, satellite television, CD player, telephone, a desk with internet access, mini-bar, hair dryer, toiletries, bath robe and slippers. Much thought has also been invested in ensuring peace and privacy. Frankly we were immediately impressed with the quality of the rooms and are sure you will be too!
Exposed stonework, wood beamed ceilings and varnished floors adorned with colorful Turkish carpets ensure that the public areas are equally appealing. Facilities include a comfortable lounge area (where Mustafa proudly displays his remarkable collection of model cars); a bar area with fireplace, snooker table, writing corner and internet access; an indoor restaurant with a lovely garden terrace and an outdoor restaurant next to the pool. Breakfast is served daily and an a la carte choice of flavorsome, home cooked dishes is always available for lunch and dinner.
Rivaling any to be found along the temperate Mediterranean coastline, Kashmir's impressive, landscaped garden is home to a vast and colourful array of both indigenous and imported shrubs. Overhanging trees offer shade and the freshwater stream that winds its way through the grounds creates a most therapeutic ambience and helps keep the garden area refreshingly cool. With hammocks by the stream, cushions scattered under the trees, a gazebo on the lawn and a stone built bar with kösk - traditional Ottoman seating area - relaxing corners are easily found, leaving more active party members to enjoy the large private pool, tennis court or a stroll along the 1km track that meanders through the estate to the banks of Lake Köycegiz and the hotel's private jetty.
Prise yourself away from this splendid oasis and you will find Kashmir ideally located for many exhilarating days of exploration. Wonderful Istuzu beach, the Lycian rock tombs at Dalyan, ancient city of Kaunos, thermal springs at Ilica and the ruins of five Lycian cities in the Xanthos Valley are all found in the near vicinity while the friendly hotel staff are always delighted to offer unbiased local advice to help you discover parts of this enchanting country that many visitors often do not experience.
We highly recommend that you spend a few days at Kashmir, perhaps either side of a visit to one of our handpicked villas with pools, or after enjoying a leisurely cruise on our exclusive Turkish gulet. There is no minimum stay required and all Vintage Travel guests have breakfast included.

Turkey - Getting there (Kashmir Boutique Hotel)
A good choice of direct charter flights into Dalaman airport from many regional UK airports makes the Turquoise Coastal area of Turkey very accessible. At the time of going to press, easyJet fly into Dalaman 5 times per week from Gatwick and 3 times per week from Manchester. Turkish Airlines, British Airways and Pegasus Airlines offer a choice of scheduled flights to Istanbul from where Turkish Airlines offer connecting flights to Dalaman. The flying time from most UK airports to Dalaman is about 3½ hours.
Driving time from Dalaman airport to the Kashmir Boutique Hotel at Köycegiz, is 35 minutes. If you are not hiring a car at the airport Vintage Travel will be pleased to arrange a private, door to door transfer for you. A driver will meet you on arrival and transfer you directly to the hotel either by taxi at a cost of £35 each way (up to 3 people) or by minibus at a cost of £55 each way (up to 6 people). It is also possible to fly into either Bodrum or Antalya airport, although from these airports a drive of about 4/5 hours will be required to reach the hotel.
