The Kulube Hotel Description
Following many requests from our guests we are thrilled to offer the opportunity to stay in this renowned and friendly hotel which comes new to our 2010 portfolio. Enjoying one of the best and, indeed, most exclusive positions on the Lycian
coast, the Kulube has a thoroughly deserved reputation for guest satisfaction.
Spectacularly positioned in a tranquil location at the tip of the Kalkan peninsula this privileged property sits above its own private bay with direct access to the sparkling aquamarine Mediterranean through pine filled terraced gardens.
With so many attractive focal points you are spoilt for choice when it comes to choosing a place in which to relax. Competing for attention are three attractive pools (two seawater, one freshwater) surrounded by spacious terracing, comfortable sun beds and parasols with an inviting pool bar and restaurant alongside.
Punctuating the pathways leading down to the bathing platform at the water's edge are various terraces offering numerous opportunities to find your own 'private' hideaway in the sunshine, sit back and simply revel in the splendid shimmering seascape ahead. Enhanced by the mature, well stocked gardens with their eclectic mix of Mediterranean trees and shrubs, an environment of restful tranquillity pervades.
Two excellent restaurants (one of them enjoying a lovely elevated position), a library, generously appointed wellness centre, hamam, sauna, massage and an air conditioned gymnasium ensure that additional facilities are certainly not lacking.
Exceptional service is guaranteed from Erol (the friendly owner) and his caring, attentive team who have perfected the art of being readily available to all guests yet at the same time discrete and unobtrusive. Their admirable professionalism must be placed high on the list of unique qualities that make the Kulube such an inviting and welcoming property.
It is about a 30 minute walk or a 5 minute ride on the hotel shuttle bus into Kalkan old town (2km) where the narrow, interlinked lanes are lined with shops, boutiques, bars and a superb choice of restaurants, many of which offer spectacular views across the bay from their unique rooftop locations. Stroll through Kalkan, particularly at night, and you will experience one of the best atmospheres of any town on the Lycian coast.

Please note: Guests at the Kulube must be a minimum of 14 years of age. Single occupancy rates are available on request. For extra nights please divide the weekly price by 7. Private transfers from Dalaman airport to the Kulube can be arranged on request. Dalaman Airport is 140km, approximately 2 hours drive from the hotel.
