Villa Fuente Redonda

Villa Fuente Redonda – A delightful Andalusian country home near Vejer de la Frontera

Villa Fuente Redonda is a fabulous new house on our Costa de la Luz programme in Andalucía, Southern Spain. This beautifully-renovated home has been done up in a traditional yet crisp style. Furthermore, it’s in a great location, nestled off an unmade lane in the countryside between coastal town of Zahora and the quaint yet cosmopolitan hillside town of Vejer de la Frontera.

Villa Fuente Redonda

Villa Fuente Redonda is a three bedroom, two bathroom country Andalusian home that can sleep between six and seven guests.

With its whitewashed walls, wrought iron furnishings, mosaic bathrooms, traditional roof tiles, high beamed ceiling and cool terracotta tiles underfoot, despite its renovation, Villa Fuente Redonda possesses the timeless and rustic Andalusian style many properties in this area are known and admired for.

Though it has a rustic façade, Villa Fuente Redonda is not without its modern conveniences, as the house boasts air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a well-equipped kitchen and a living room with a TV, CD and DVD, perfect for snuggling up on those evenings spent indoors.

The double bedroom on the first floor would be a real treat to stay in as an en-suite shower room and a dressing area are both set within this sloped roofed room. Also on the first floor is a quaint open mezzanine with a single bedroom, again set within the character of a traditional sloped roof.

The exterior of this traditional Andalusian country home is as charming as its interior. Set within an enclosed lawned garden, sporadically dotted with fruit and palm trees, Villa Fuente Redonda is entered via a covered south west facing dining terrace. A built-in barbecue with an adjacent sink also makes wining and dining outside easy at Villa Fuente Redonda.

After enjoying breakfast, lunch, dinner or even supper on this conveniently-positioned terrace, guests can take a refreshing dip in the private pool with Roman steps.

Lying next to the National Park of La Brena, Villa Fuente Redonda is set within the most stunning of Andalusian countryside. Though amenities can be easily reached from Villa Fuente Redonda as the nearest village is just 2.5 kilometres from the house, which has a selection of shops, bakeries and even a butchers.

Despite its rural location and idyllic bucolic surroundings, Villa Fuente Redonda is just four kilometres from the beach of Zahora, where you can experience the fabulous Cape Trafalgar, not to mention the many great beach bars all serving ice-cold beer and deliciously fresh fish. Alternatively you can head inland and climb the hairpin bends until you reach the atmospheric hillside town of Vejer de la Frontera, recently voted the second prettiest town in Spain.
