Casa das Pedras – an elegant, stylish five bedroom (all with ensuite bath/shower rooms) country house sleeping 10 situated close to the Portuguese village of Boliqueime on the Algarve.

Facilities both inside and out are excellent and include a larger than average private pool – can be heated on request for a small supplement – separate solar heated children’s pool, private tennis court, games room (with ¾ size snooker table, table football, PlayStation, TV and DVD), summer kitchen with in built barbecue, hob, fridge and sink, spacious sun terrace, plus landscaped grounds – illuminated at night – with fenced carp pond, lawn, mature shrubs and olive trees.

There’s a maid service six days per week and air conditioning in all bedrooms, the split level living/dining room and the games room.  The property also enjoys superb countryside views towards the coastline and is just a 20-minute drive to one of the region’s best sandy beaches at Praia de Falésia.

A week’s rental leads in at £1995 in October, rising to £3995 at the end of July.  Flights and car hire extra.
