Top things to do on the Algarve – Visit A Portuguese Market
Here’s our fourth suggestion of things to do on the Algarve and this one entails experiencing some good ol’ Portuguese culture by visiting one of the many colourful markets that take place all over The Algarve.
You’ll discover a great buzz thanks to the fragrant smells, colours and noise all around you. The towns themselves are often ancient and full of narrow alleys and cobbled streets which adds to the experience.
Many of the markets have everything, from souvenirs to clothing to bags and watches but beware designer fakes!
A final word of warning here, don’t flash your cash about as pick pockets eagerly await tourists. Invest in a tourist money belt if you want to carry a decent amount of cash about, oh… and don’t take your passport!
