This restaurant is a fun, full of irreverent joy, and is the type of place where the only thing that is serious is the food. Tickets is particularly famed for it razor clams, which are recommended if one want to taste the true essence of the sea. Although look out for the ice-cream carts and candy floss machines, as well – A truly wacky place to dine and great for families with children.
AbaC
The youngest chef in the whole of Spain to receive a Michelin star was Jordi Cruz, who was awarded the highest honour in cooking when he was still only 25-years-old. Jordi is the head chef in AbaC, a slickly designed restaurant with fine food trending towards the experimental.
Manairo
Groundbreaking food cooked with some really unusual appliances such as blowtorches, high-voltage lamps and naked flames. Manairo’s head chef ,Jordi Herrara, serves up some sensational and innovative dishes in the most delectable of ambiences.
Gelonch
Robert Gelonch earned his stripes whilst working with the Adria brothers in the renowned Spanish restaurant, El Bulli. Now this leading chef he serves up exquisite beauties in his own place, Gelonch. His oysters cooked in gin and tonic are one to remember at this sensational Barcelona restaurant.
