Se Cova Des Pujol and nearby Felanitx – Mallorca at its most magical. You dream about taking a holiday in a quality villa with a fabulous private swimming pool, surrounded by scenery so beautiful that landscape artists congregate here in their droves, in a place where you can smell both the countryside and the sea. You pinch yourself, and awaken from your dream, only to find that you are actually here, on a sun-lounger besides majestic Roman steps leading down into an ample and sparkling swimming pool at villa Cova Des Pujol on the island of Mallorca….

Luxury villa in Mallorca Se Cova Des Pujol is the latest addition of impressive villas, which you can find on Vintage Travel’s Mallorca portfolio.

The minute that you drive through the iron gates towards the strawberry tree, you know that you are entering into a world of easy living and pure uninhibited relaxation. The house and large garden are beautifully maintained by the owners who are locals to the area. This four bedroom, three bathroom villa can sleep up to eight guests and is blessed with many traditional Mallorcan features and a truly complimentary décor.

The nearby town of Felanitx is thought by many to be one of the best kept and cleanest towns on Majorca. The Sunday market is a lively place and makes for a great day out. There is plenty of great places to eat in this traditional Mallorcan town as well, either in the cafes and bars or from the fast food stalls, which sell delicious local delicacies, such as ‘Empanadas’, tiny little pasties filled with meat or fish. As Felanitx is only three kilometres from Se Cova Des Pujol, if you want a bottle of great local vino with your meal, you can easily leave the car behind.

In fact wine and brandy are specialities of the area around Felanitx and there are plenty of vineyards and distilleries close by. Trying the local produce is always great fun on holiday and don’t be afraid to ask the waiter what is best – Que es mejor?

For a livelier town you may want to travel 12 kilometres down to Porto Colom on the sea front. This resort is popular with holidaymakers who do not want to be too over powered by commercialism but at the same time want some action. Part of Porto Colom’s appeal is its fabulous beach, which is surrounded by small rocky cliffs, caves and coves. If you have seafood on your mind, then Porto Colom, with its numerable island-renowned seafood restaurants is certainly the place to come.

Alternatively, we couldn’t blame you if you opted have your evening meal under the starry sky on Se Cova’s Des Pujol’s extensive dining terrace, where panoramic views from this luxury villa in Mallorca take on another meaning.
