The event showcases exhibitions, cooking classes, seminars, tastings and celebrations of all things chocolatey!  Wondering through the medieval streets you’ll find the main piazzas and many central streets are scattered with stalls selling chocolate, blended into ice creams, cakes, pastries and even savoury dishes as well as in its unadulterated form.

When you visit the medieval city of Perugia with its unique ‘amber-walls’ you’ll be spoilt rotten with a selection of magnificent architecture, the splendid Piazza Quattro Novembre and its Great Fountain and the chic shopping street, Corso Vannucci.

Perugia is situated in the quaint Italian region of Umbria and we have some fantastic properties to let including Gli Oleandri, a lovely four bedroom, four bathroom stone farmhouse (sleeps up to eight) situated just over five kilometres from Perugia. With this property you will enjoy superb rural views of fields, olive groves and stone hamlets. It also features wood furniture, beamed ceilings and terracotta floors as well as open and covered terraces and spacious grounds of lawn, flowers and trees.

We’re offering a small party rate at this property which means a group of up to four pays just £995 for a week’s rental from 17 October.  Or for five or six people, the cost is £1295, whilst a larger group of seven or eight pays £1695.  Prices do not include return UK flights and car hire, but these can be arranged on request.

We found a rather ‘Americanised’ video of last year’s festival here… enjoy.
