Quinta da Aroeira is a beautiful old farmhouse-style bungalow set extensive and well-stocked gardens of a fertile and lush region of the Algarve close to the traditional town of Carvoeiro.

Quinta da Aroeira

The restored farmhouse for rent on the Algarve is delightfully airy with plenty of room for four people to spread out and make themselves feel at home. There is a double bedroom and a twin room in Quinta da Aroeira, both of which are roomy with a traditional décor, highlighted by the beamed ceiling and tiled floor. There is no clutter in this commodious house, other than what you decide to bring in your suitcase!

Similar to the bedrooms, the kitchen, dining room and lounge have all be decorated in a traditional style, with the stark simplicity of the tiled floors and beamed ceilings dominate the overall appearance of the bungalow. Contrasting to the traditionalism of the décor are the many modern appliances Quinta da Aroeira is bestowed with, such as a fully-equipped kitchen and Wi-Fi, which has come to be expected these days.

The Algarve is renowned throughout the world for its year-round sunshine and enviable warm temperatures and is proficiently geared towards spending time outside enjoying the region’s great climate. Quinta da Aroeira is no exception to this seemingly ubiquitous Algarve trait, with several terraces running around this house, allowing guests to make up their mind whether they want sun or shade. For those wanting to go home with a super suntan, the pool is bigger than normal and is surrounded by a great sun terrace, crying out for visitors to lay out on a sun lounger and soak up the sun’s rays. For al fresco wining and dining there is a superb barbeque area, which again is a total must in this part of the world.

With a vast array of tree specimens including palm trees and fir trees and well-maintained lawns, Quinta da Aroeira’s owners obviously take a lot of pride in the garden, which is an absolute delight to sit out in.

Only five kilometres down the road from Quinta da Aroeira you come to the well-known and picturesque sandy cove of Carvoeiro and its numerous restaurants and bars. There are in fact many beaches fairly close by that are great for families and well worth a visit. To experience a truly authentic Algarve village, visiting the fishing village of Ferragudo is highly recommended, which is only 10 kilometres away from the farmhouse.

Quinta da Aroeira is a marvellous place to spend a holiday. The house and gardens are first rate in a wonderful part of the world. In fact for a family of four or a small group of friends, this restored farmhouse for rent on the Algarve could be the perfect place to stay and unwind in the sun.
