Ca’n Paner

Ca’n Paner: A spacious one-bedroom country home on Mallorca

Ca’n Paner is a lovely villa on the island of Mallorca that has plenty of room to spread out and relax.

Ca’n Paner

This spacious and beautifully maintained country villa is situated between Pollenca and Sa Pobla, and has a great view of the fertile farmland and countryside that surrounds the property.

Known as Mallorca’s vegetable basket, Sa Pobla and the fertile mashes in its vicinity is often referred to as the ‘land of a thousand windmills.’

Done up and looked after to an exceptionally high standard by the villa’s owners, Maria and her son Jaume, Ca’n Paner boasts a beautiful interior of sloping wooden beams, a cobbled vestibule, terracotta tiles and numerous characterful furnishings and ornaments resonant of the area’s eminent farming presence.

Despite its rural location and rustic décor, Ca’n Paner is equipped with modern conveniences, including Wi-Fi and air conditioning.

With a large shaded terrace, propped up with chunky wooden beams similar to those found inside, a barbecue, a private swimming pool set within a fertile lawn surrounded by mature shrubs and many beautiful plants and flowers, Ca’n Paner’s exterior is designed to spend time in and make the most of Mallorca’s enviable climate.

Though as pretty and idyllic as Ca’n Paner and its grounds might be, a world of fun in the sunshine awaits guests staying in this part of Mallorca.

The nearby town of Pollenca is steeped in history, character and life. The town’s main square is the perfect spot to sit with a drink and a bite to eat and soak in local life. A busy market takes place in Pollenca each Sunday.

Slightly further afield, some 14km from the house, is the town of Sa Pobla, which is four kilometres to the north of Muro.

With a contemporary art gallery, a Jazz festival every August, an acclaimed autumn fair dedicated to the region’s rich agricultural heritage and being home to one of the most unusual fiestas on Mallorca when pets are led through the town and blessed outside the church, Sa Pobla is great place to experience Mallorca’s unique arts and culture.

A day on the beach is also easily attainable from Ca’n Paner as the sandy beach of Cala San Vicens is just 11.5km away.

With blossoming nature on your doorstep, Ca’n Paner is a great place for bird enthusiasts and nature-lovers to stay. Or if wine is more up your street, wine tasting is also readily available!
