Casa Milly: Within reach of Tuscany’s treasure trove of delights

Casa Milly is a spacious villa just ten kilometres from the stunning town of Lucca in Tuscany. With six bedrooms and five bathrooms, Casa Milly can sleep 12 guests.

Casa Milly

This beautifully renovated house is nestled in the hills in the lush and rolling countryside Tuscany is renowned for. Stylishly designed, it’s hard to believe that Casa Milly was built from the ruins of a medieval farm close to a renaissance property known as Villa Olivia.

With Italian antiques and furnishings strewn throughout the property, Casa Milly exudes history, taste and splendour in every room.

French doors lead from the living room onto a shaded outdoor terrace. A large rustic dining table crafts a sense of nobleness in the dining room. With a chunky sharpened wooden beam holding shiny copper pots and pans sat above the worktop, the kitchen is a delight to cook in.

Most of Casa Milly’s bedrooms are located on the first floor. On the ground floor, a double bedroom with an adjoining children’s twin room provides a convenient place for parties with families to have some privacy.

Outside a huge pool with poolside changing rooms centred amongst sensational Tuscan countryside is likely to be a focal point for parties staying at Casa Milly.

A covered dining terrace and barbecue enable guests to wine, dine, relax and drink in the fabulous views this enviably-positioned villa enjoys. From the garden, San Pancrazio’s old bell tower can be seen in the distance, augmenting the historical splendour of the setting.

The town of Lucca is just nine kilometres from Casa Milly. Famed for its Renaissance-era city walls that have remained remarkably intact over the centuries, Lucca is a fantastic town to visit and become acquainted with Tuscan culture and history.

Located at the foot of the Alpuan Alps and less than half an hour from the coast, the region of Italy has everything. From lazing the day away on a beach, to exploring breathtaking countryside, to discovering the famous and vibrant Tuscans town of Lucca, Prato and Florence, Casa Milly is within reaching distance to Tuscany’s treasure trove of delights.
