Adventure parks proliferate and cover all sorts of sports activities. Glavani Park has treetop obstacle courses, suitable for most age groups. The region is also home to a great Aqua Park called Istralandia. This popular water park is near the town of Novigrad in western Croatia. What started as a tranquil fishing town, Novigrad has been tastefully developed over the years and is now an exciting destination, with plenty to do for all ages.

Croatia has plenty of everything, from blissful islands bathing in a Mediterranean climate, to high Alps covered in snow. To get the best out of your stay, hire a car and visit cities such as Zagreb, or Dubrovnik a World Heritage Site.

Venetian ports such as Porec or Rovinj are interesting places to wander around and explore with all the family. Go further south and discover the Plitvice National park, one of eight to be found in Croatia, with incredible waterfalls and lakes.

The Dalmatian area to the south is rugged and less developed. If you love food and drink stop over at Peljesac or Ston bay for fresh oysters, or even investigate the woodland truffle country, guaranteed to enthral young minds.
