Located in a superb spot in Son Cabrises, a lovely rural neighbourhood near Ses Mongetes, guests at Joymag are within walking distance of Menorca’s pretty western shoreline, amidst Menorcan countryside at its most beautiful.
Joymag is decorated in a traditional Menorcan style, with a beautiful interior comprising of warm, rustic colours. You’ll find all the modern conveniences, including Wi-Fi and ceiling fans in the bedrooms, in this inviting villa, designed to help guests feel comfortable and at home.
Though as comfortable and attractive Joymag is on the inside, it’s clear that this characterful rural cottage is designed for some real al-fresco enjoyment.
To the rear of the property is a large outdoor terrace, where guests can spread out and unwind. A covered dining terrace with a built-in barbecue provides the perfect spot to enjoy eating, drinking and relaxing in the fresh Menorcan air.
A large private pool encircled by terracotta tiles followed by a well-kept lawn invites guests to freshen up and have fun in the sun. Flickers of colour and vibrancy break up the emerald splendour that surrounds Joymag, with shrubs and flowerbeds being an integral part of the villa’s ample grounds.
This beautiful spot of western Menorca is geared for walking and making the most of the blissful rural landscape. A 600 metre walk from Joymag to the coast takes you past simply stunning countryside of palm trees, stone-walled fields and pretty woodlands, down to the azure waters of the sea. The track that leads from the cottage to the sea is known as the ‘Cami de Cavalls’, a notoriously scenic route.
Just four kilometres from Joymag is the pretty town of Ciutadella, where ancient streets, a harbour full of quality bars and restaurants, and atmospheric squares lined with palm trees, present a memorable, and relaxing day or evening out.
