Great activities on Ibiza for children

From toddlers to teenagers Ibiza’s a paradise island for all the family. Ibiza may have gained a reputation over the years as being the ultimate destination for the young and carefree seeking a hedonistic holiday in the sun, but for the thousands of families who also go on holiday to Ibiza each year, this lively yet beautiful island becomes their own holiday paradise.

Being surrounded by great beaches, brimming with great family entertainment and with plenty to see and do for all the family, this diverse and dynamic Balearic Island is an adventure playground for anyone seeking a fun, adventurous and cheerful holiday in the sun.

From toddlers to teenagers, take a look at the following great activities on Ibiza for children.

Play parks

The Spanish adore children and none more so than on the island of Ibiza. Play parks designed for small children are plentiful on the island, testimony of Ibiza’s love and respect for their young locals and visitors.

Play parks and fun fairs

Whilst play parks and fairs can be found on most resorts, towns and villages on Ibiza, they are particularly prevalent in San Antonio Bay, Playa d’en Bossa and Cala Llonga, where carousels, bouncy castles, cart tracks and trampolines are an inherent part of the landscape.

Most parks have adequate amount of space for kids to run around in a let off steam and are in a safe and enclosed area, meaning that mum and dad can relax whilst their little ones use up some of that seemingly inexhaustible energy!

Being equipped with great features such as climbing frames, games and zip cords, many of Ibiza’s parks and funfairs are great fun for older kids as well.

Teenage adventure

If you are going on holiday with teenagers in tow, finding things to do to stop teenagers from scowling can often be a darn sight harder than entertaining little ones! Fortunately on the island of Ibiza there is plenty to do to stop that almost inevitable grimace of boredom emerging on your teenager’s face!

The bowling centre

With tenpin bowling, trampolines, a rodeo bull and crazy golf, the Bowling Centre at Playa d’en Bossa provides a great day out for all the family and will go a long way in keeping teenage holiday boredom at bay.

Kart tracks

The thrill of driving your own machine and racing around a track under the warm rays of the sun and being surrounded by a beautiful landscape, never fails to adrenaline pumping of every member of the family. As a consequence of this great family entertainment, the kart tracks of San Antonio and Sta Eularia remain popular entertainment destinations throughout the year.
