La Cloche: Stylish self-catering accommodation in the delightful Dordogne

If you are looking for self-catering accommodation within the verdant beauty of the Dordogne, La Cloche comes highly recommended. Enveloped by a landscape of forests and fields, this three-bedroom, two-bathroom country home epitomises the natural splendour the Dordogne has to offer.

La Cloche

La Cloche can sleep between six and eight guests in comfort. The house is situated in the traditional Dordogne village of Prats-du-Périgord. Simply follow the lane from the quant village square until you arrive at this impressive, stone-clad property, with its charming red-pitched roof.

La Cloche is furnished to an impressive standard, with contemporary conveniences, including Wi-Fi, crafting a ‘home-from-home’ vibe. The property’s double bedroom is located on the lower ground floor. As well as being en-suite with a shower room, this spacious bedroom provides access to La Cloche’s delightful garden.

Youngsters within a party will adore the bedroom on the first floor, which has four beds, snuggled cosily under the eaves.

La Cloche makes the most of its enviable surroundings, with a private, heated pool providing a place to splash about, cool off, or simply relax and enjoy the emerald vista that extends from the garden to the surrounding fields and meadows.

A dining terrace overlooks La Cloche’s pretty garden, pool and sunbathing terrace. If the Dordogne sun gets a little too hot overhead, you can take advantage of the shade on the property’s covered seating area.

Renowned for its imposing chateaux, pre-historic caves, charming villages, inimitable cuisine, and, of course, the mighty Dordogne River, this south-east area of the Dordogne is crying out to be explored.

Just ten kilometres from the house is the pretty bastide town of Villefranche-du-Périgord. The towns of Belves and Monpazier can also be reached with ease, where an abundance of shops, bars, restaurants and amenities, provide everything you’ll need to be acquainted with traditional Dordogne life.
