Private Villas With Pools In Portugal
We have almost 40 unique private villas with pools in Portugal on offer this 2010, all of which offer a level of relaxation and luxury you could get very used to. From villas in the Algarve (with its sandy beaches and year-round sunshine ) to villas in Northern Portugal, an area of outstanding beauty with quaint villages, virgin forests and miles of pristine beaches.
Here’s a small taster of what’s on offer:
Palmares in Lagos (Sleeps 8 )
This charming villa is incredibly spacious and impresses from the outset as you arrive up a long entrance driveway lined with mature palms. This villa has an incredibly relaxing ambience thanks to its vaulted beamed ceilings, archways, crisp whitewashed walls and sliding glass doors creating lots of light. It’s got all the mod cons and makes for a great escape for a large family or perhaps a group of friends.
Marrakexe in Estoi (sleeps 8 )
This villa has a incredible Moroccan charm to it. It’s situated bang in the middle of pretty villages, traditional farms, extensive vineyards and fragrant citrus groves and has to be one of the most enchanting properties in our portfolio. The villa has been designed with ‘light’ in mind, it has bags of it all day long!
What’s more, the owners have travelled far and wide in pursuit of suitable artwork, furnishings, antiques and original pieces to fulfil their vision (indeed, a clue to where they spent much of their time can be found in the house name itself). The result of their single-minded endeavours is this unique property; a seamless fusion of Moorish decorative touches and vibrant North African colours with oodles of celebrated Portuguese charm.
Casa do Rio in Seixas (Caminha) (sleeps 6 )
If you like a good view then look no further! Casa do Rio has one of the best views you could ever ask for far across the lovely River Minho estuary and Galicia on the other side. If you can pull yourself away from the view then the villa has all the mod cons and practical living space.
A meander down a cobbled lane from the gates of the house will bring you to the river, and here you can enjoy a drink in a little summer bar, or continue up another path crossing the single track railway to the village centre 5 minutes away, where you will find all local amenities.
