Spectacular luxury villa in Tuscany – Castello di Brancialino

Fancy staying in an original medieval castle overlooking stunning views in the heart of Italian countryside? If so, then dream no more as Vintage Travel is particularly pleased to announce Castello di Brancialino to our portfolio of Tuscan properties, a five bedroom, three bathroom luxury villa in Tuscany that really is, well ‘fit for a king!’

This spectacularly imposing villa took six years to renovate and, as a result of this meticulous and lengthy restoration project, has been restored to an exceptionally high standard.

What is believed to be an 1100-year-old watchtower from the Roman era, as most watchtowers possess, Castello di Brancialino has views that go on for what seems like perpetuity. After passing through the property’s stately outer walls, you are met by a cobbled courtyard, which leads to a fabulous private pool.

So huge and imposing is this villa that one has to describe its facilities by its position on the compass, with the ‘east side’ of Castello di Brancialino being geared up for some seriously opulent outdoor wining and dining with a huge open-air terrace that is somewhat conveniently accessed through the kitchen.

The interior of this renovated castle is similarly as imperial but whilst retaining a welcoming, cosy and comforting tone. A huge stone fireplace is one of the property’s main focal points, likewise the antique furniture, elegant pieces of art, oak beams and exposed wooden beams, certainly generate some conversation!

Guests can enjoy some quality ‘quiet’ pre-dinner reading time in the peaceful reading area on the middle floor before making their way to the spacious dining, where exquisite meals are wholly complimented by equally exquisite furniture and fittings.

With long arched windows being a regular feature of the villa, besides letting in floods of sunshine and light, you do not have to take too many steps in Castello di Brancialino before catching sight of a panoramic view of heavenly Tuscan countryside.

This spacious luxury villa in Tuscany can sleep up to ten guests, with its five opulent bedrooms being spread out over three floors.

With so many unique and thoroughly absorbing features and delights to mention, it is easy to get lost in talking about this magnificent villa and fail to focus on its location and surroundings, which being so beautiful and typically ‘Tuscan’ are more than worthy of mentioning.

The towns of Sansepolcro and Pieve Santo Stefano are both approximately ten kilometres away and have many great restaurants, bars and shops, whilst the walled town of Anghiari, less than 20 km away, provides a cultural and historical day out.
