Stay at the stylish villa of Flisvos overlooking Lefkada’s Desimi Bay

At Flisvos and its sister properties, views don’t come much more scenic. This tasteful modern home sits amongst a carpet of pine trees that cling to the hilly slopes that overlook a pretty bay gently lapped by the turquoise water of the Ionian Sea.

A small shingle cove can be reached by a short stroll on foot down a hillside path from the villa, as can the soft golden sands of Desimi Beach, which is also home to two quality tavernas. Though despite the many treasures on your doorstep at Flisvos, we couldn’t blame you for wanting to spend time in the villa and its extensive grounds.

Internally, the property is beautifully presented, with vibrantly-coloured furnishings and fabrics providing a stylish contrast to the more traditional and rustic features, including terracotta tiles and vaulted ceilings with chunky wooden beams.

French doors lead from the double bedroom onto a balcony, where guests can gaze at the incredible panoramic views that surround this handful of hillside villas, extended across the bay and towards the distant mountains of mainland Greece.

Externally, Flisvos is designed to spend time outside and make the most of its elevated position that overlooks Lefkada’s stunning countryside. A private swimming pool is flanked by mature olive trees, casting some much-welcomed shade across the garden. A barbecue and dining terrace mean family meals can be enjoyed outside with ease.

Flisvos, together with its sister properties Votsalo, Thalasa and Akrogiali, make a great choice of accommodation for larger families or a group of friends wanting to holiday together but maintain individual space and privacy.
