And our collection of properties on the Algarve has just got even better with the arrival of Villa Lima, a short drive from Sao Bras de Alportel.

Villa Lima has three bedrooms and three bathrooms and can sleep six guests in comfort. This beautiful rose-tinted house overlooks the village of Alportel. This pretty village is surrounded by extensive plantations of cork oak, so naturally the views from Villa Lima are more than pleasing to the eye.

This stylish and airy villa comprises of three en-suite bedrooms. All the rooms in Villa Lima are tastefully done up with modern furnishings and fittings that exude a sophisticated ambience. Two of the double bedrooms have doors that lead to a terrace where the stunning view of the fertile Alrgarvan countryside is the perfect backdrop to read a book, enjoy a glass of wine or simply sit and relax.

There is plenty do to in Villa Lima to keep the whole family entertained, including having a game of table tennis in the games room or playing on the Playstation in the living room.

Though with a verdurous world of sun, water and nature on your doorstep, this region of Portugal is really geared towards being outdoors and breathing in the fresh Algarvan air.

Whether it’s enjoying a snack at lunchtime or sitting in the shade in the early evening, several covered and open terraces enable guests to enjoy this sensational scenery that surrounds them at Villa Lima in comfort. The property’s enclosed grounds includes a well-maintained lawn, the intense green shade offering a beautiful contrast to the villa’s rose-coloured walls and the azure sky overhead.

The villa’s private pool boasts a tremendous backdrop of the surrounding oak covered landscape intermittently broken up with elegant red-roofed houses.

Making the most of Villa Lima’s enviable position guests can walk through the breath-taking scenery to the nearby café, which serves snacks and drinks. Slightly further afield, 2.5 kilometres from the house, is the traditional town of Sao Bras de Alportel. This historical town was inhabited in the 12th century and was the birthplace of the Moorish poet Ibne Ammar.

From walks in the Barrocal to explore the many a whitewashed village basking under the sun, to enjoying the wide open spaces and the fresh vistas around every corner, there really is so much to see, experience and enjoy in this stunning corner of the Algarve.
