If you go on holiday to Tuscany, eating out is likely to be part of your itinerary because after all Italian cuisine is simply irresistible. Italians enjoy eating out regularly and children are very much part of the vibrant and pleasantly boisterous restaurant scene.

Similar to much of the continent, Italians tend to eat their evening meal later than the British and many of the restaurants don’t open until 8pm and rarely get going until 10 or even 11pm at the weekends.

If you are a ‘foodie’ or simply a lover of Italian food – aren’t we all! – then Tuscany is certainly the right part of the world to take a holiday. In fact Tuscan food and wine has been described as being ‘superlative’. Ristorante Poldino

Ristorante Poldino is situated in the heart of the Migliarino Regional Park at San Rossore, Massaciuccoli. Set within an historical 19th century building, this highly popular restaurant has been serving top-notch Tuscan cuisine for more than three generations.

The Ristorante Poldino is particularly well-known for its delicious dishes comprising of sheep’s cheese, wild boar, pine nuts and fallow deer, and it is not uncommon to see wild boar or fallow deer grazing close to the restaurant as you dine.
