Visit Figueres

Visit the birthplace of Salvador Dali, taking in the large museum dedicated to his life and surrealist artworks. There are numerous other historical sites to discover here including the Church of San Pedro, which once hosted a royal wedding.

Dive off the Medes Islands

If you’re either an experienced diver or perhaps a novice, you must visit the marine reserve that lies around The Medes Islands. Often said to be some of the Mediterranean’s best diving.

Explore Pals

Pals is a fine example of the region’s many picturesque medieval towns and has been restored to its former glory, making for an ideal day trip for culture vultures. But beware… go on a weekday to avoid the crowds.

Visit Aquabrava

This is one of the finest water parks in the Med and encompasses a wide assortment of slides, waterfalls, rapids and pools. It’s most famed for having the biggest wave pool in Europe and is located near Roses!

Walk the Coastal Path

Hikers will be in their element on the Costa Brava. The coastal paths are paticually gratifying, leading past bays and beaches but also giving you the chance to appreciate the peace and quiet of the wider scenery.
