Villa Anemos: Quaint two-bedroom Grecian-style accommodation on pretty Paxos
Anemos is a quaint little house overlooking the pretty town of Gaios, the main port on the island of Paxos. This two bedroom house can sleep four people in comfort. Looking down towards stunning coastal town of Gaios and beyond to mighty Ionian Sea, Anemos boasts the most spectacular of views.
The bedrooms consist of one double and a twin. Both have en-suite shower rooms and air conditioning. The rooms are simple and uncluttered giving an overall vibe of spaciousness and simplicity.
The open-plan lounge/dining room is equally as comfortable and cool with the high beamed ceiling and ample space. The whole house is tastefully furnished in an almost minimalistic Grecian style.
The kitchen is large and well-equipped, perfect for those entertaining nights in when you can rustle up your own stupendous food from either the kitchen or the outside barbecue. There are shops and supermarkets in nearby Gaios from where you can stock up the fridge.
When the weather is hot (and it often is in this part of the world), Anemos’s large terraces that lie adjacent to the pool are geared towards enjoying soaking up the sun in the most inspiring of surrounding. Looking out to sea and admiring the view is great inspiration for perfecting your breaststroke!
In fact being situated high up above Gaios, Anemos’ outdoor dining terrace has to have one of the best views in the whole of Paxos, or Greece for that matter.
Gaios is a lovely little harbour town with great tavernas and restaurants where you can idle away the hours watching the boats and the people pass by. The main square is an idyllic place to become acquainted with life in Paxos. If you enjoy seafood, the fresh fish in Gaios’ coastal restaurants is simply divine.
There is plenty to do on this east coast of Paxos. Small pretty beaches hug the town and are great for swimming, exploring and relaxing. Or, if you yearn more seclusion, boats can be hired from the Gaios’ harbour, enabling you to discover this coastline’s many secluded coves.
