It sleeps up to a party of 10 and has its own private pool and separate solar heated children’s pool as well as a circular meditation area – a peaceful and calming spot also reputed to be a mystical source of energy for the house – sunken into the ground and semi-hidden from view in the terraced, landscaped garden.

It has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, the main bedroom boasting a unique, antique roll top bath in the en suite. Situated alongside the pool is a self-contained suite which is ideal, for example, for grandparents (or teenagers) wanting some independence.

When you stay here you’ll discover a mix of antique and contemporary furnishings, hand painted and terracotta tiling and a state-of-the-art kitchen, plus there are open and covered terraces, a roof terrace, a cobbled courtyard and a maid service six days a week.
