Vintage Travel shines in the Conde Nast Readers’ Travel Awards 2013

Vintage Travel is proud to announce that we came in the top ten of the ‘World’s Best Villa Rental Companies’ category of the highly prestigious Conde Nast Readers’ Travel Awards. The criteria for the voting is based on a number of components, including the range of villas a company has on its books, the facilities and equipment provided in the accommodation, the welcome and information pack, the services and staff, on the ground support and value for money.

Vintage Travel scored a mighty 83.28%, which put us in a highly impressive sixth place.

For more than a quarter of a century, hotels, travel companies, villa rentals, airlines and cruise ships have been competing to receive the much-esteemed seal of approval by the Conde Nast Readers’ Travel Awards. Unlike many awards which are decided by industry official and ‘experts’, with the Conde Nast Awards the real experts decide who are the winners, the travellers.

Those with a thirst for travel and who are determined to share with the world their experiences and opinions can participate in this celebrated and influential survey. So admired has the Conde Nast Readers’ Travel Awards become that in 2012, 47,000 participated in the survey, determined to give their thumbs up or thumbs down on different aspects of their travel experiences.

It has to be said that the quality of the accommodation, resorts, travel companies, cruise lines and every strand of the industry featured in the awards seems to get higher every year, with 2013 being no exception. These high-status travel industry awards comprise of a heady and diverse mix of categories. From the ‘Top Islands in the World’ award to the ‘Best Places to Ski and Stay in North America’ category, to the ‘Number 1 Cities Around the World, to ‘Top 100 Hotels & Resorts in the World,’ the Conde Nast Travel survey dissects the industry and enables discerning travellers to have their say.

It was however the ‘World’s Best Villa Rental Companies’ section in which Vintage Travel excelled. Offering villas to cater for every taste that have been meticulously hand-picked, each with a private pool and all in the most heavenly of locations, it is not difficult to understand why Vintage Travel ranked so high in this category.
