Wine Tours In Le Marche

We’ve discovered a fantastic wine tour in Le March, which we can highly recommend if you are lucky enough to be staying in the area. Set up and run by Marco who has heaps of experience with wines all over the world, and has in fact studied Viticulture and Oenology (wine making) at Ancona University and become a member of the Italian Sommeliers Society, you are certainly in capable hands.

Marco has designed 5 tours as follows:

The Ultimate – (9 am to 6 ish pm, lunch included)

Visit 3 wineries, the International Labels Museum, a cheese factory and an oil mill.

The Switch – (9 am to 4 pm, lunch included)

Visit 2 wineries and the medieval village of Ostra.

Matelica to Serrapetrona – (9 am to 6.00 pm, lunch included)

Visit 2 wineries, the Piersanti Museum and a honey producer.

Conero DOCG – (Half day, from 3 pm dinner included)

Visit 2 wineries and the Camerano Caves.

Organic – (Half day, from 3 pm dinner included)

Visit 2 wineries and an ancient hermitage site.

Join one of the best wine tours in Le Marche

Group tours are for a maximum eight people and can be customised to any specific requirements. The tour is in English and you will be introduced to some of the most characteristic, family owned wineries in the Region.

You will sample wines made of indigenous grape varieties such as Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi, Rosso Conero, Lacrima di Morro d’Alba, Verdicchio di Matelica and Vernaccia di Serrapetrona.

You will also get the opportunity to walk through vineyards, discover all the secrets techniques behind wine making, and match wine to Marches’ gastronomic specialities.

Pick up can be made directly from your accommodation or from prearranged meeting points.
